About Aaronica

The name

A song became a place.

LANY’s Alonica sparked the feeling. Aaronica gave it somewhere to live.

Aaronica is the place. Rui is the person.

Nica

A little room inside a name.

For me, nica holds an imagined place where curiosity feels at home.

Somewhere to wander—and return.

The compass

Curiosity sets sail. Evidence steers.

I choose my questions independently—and let what I find change my mind. A failed prediction can be the beginning of a better question.

The next shore need not have a name.

Fellow islanders

An idea changes in good company.

I began this place; others bring their own questions. Sometimes the unexpected connection is another person.

Different bearings. A shared curiosity.

The seaside home

Even an odyssey needs a place to pause.

Ceramic doorplates welcome you in. A hot dog cart keeps everyday pleasure beside the questions. Look closely: AARONICA · RUI is on its side.

A home is made of small recognitions.

An invitation

An unfinished thought is enough.

A question, a connection, a simple hello. The Drift Bottle leaves a way for something unexpected to arrive.
