My work connects computational methods with the behaviour of chemical systems. I develop kinetic Monte Carlo approaches for polymer processes, with a current focus on polymer upcycling and plastic waste valorisation.

PhD · Zhejiang University, with joint supervision at the University of Patras
Between control science and chemical engineering, I learned to describe polymerisation one reaction at a time—and to make those molecular stories faster to compute. My doctoral research connected kinetic Monte Carlo modelling with the prediction of polymer microstructure.
Supervised by Prof. Xi Chen and Prof. Antonios Armaou (University of Patras profile).

Setting sail into chemistry
Postdoctoral Research · University of Oxford
Marie Skłodowska-Curie FellowAt the Stamatakis Research Group at the University of Oxford, I set sail into chemistry, particularly the world of catalysis. My work now connects molecular reaction mechanisms with kinetic modelling to understand how catalysts can transform plastic waste into valuable products.
